Other celebrities at Burberry Beauty Tea Party who graced event with their presence were Aaron Paul, tennis champ Serena Williams and model May Anderson. All guests were posing for cameras and lush greenery in background made the pictures more soothing. All wore dresses according to afternoon party without much of a bling.

Elegance, sexiness and powerful appearances are just few ways to describe Burberry’s effect on fashion world. For this season, Christopher Bailey has infused rock’n'roll influences along with an urban-grunge appeal and taken collection to a different level because one could see, styling more modern and refreshed.

Christopher Bailey’s boys got tough in rugged and beaten-up biker jackets, gladiator-battle-ready jackets, easy T-shirts and khaki cropped trousers. Leather, studded and quilting details enhanced the attitude of this season’s Burberry boy. In Burberry Prorsum Mens Collection there were also traditional legendary trench coat paired with country-gent. Shades marched to a military tune with neutral chromatic theme that goes from elegant black to khaki, dark blue or light brown.

To make this collection more Spring/Summer friendly, Christopher Bailey added a accessories line for men who loves to carry a fashionable tote and cork-soled sandals to tone down the toughness. Burberry Prorsum Spring 2011 bags presented at Milan Fashion Week Spring 2011 season include everything from a spiky, studded number to a camel-hued messenger bag. Overall, the collection was a perfect balance between boyish vulnerability and male strength.

Not-for-profit trade association, Council of Fashion Designers of America is comprised of 350 of America’s foremost fashion and accessory designers. 2010 CFDA Fashion Awards event not only recognized contribution of designers in fashion world but this time, Special Tribute Award was added to pay tribute to late Alexander Mcqueen.

Dressed in black strapless gown Supermodel Iman won CFDA Fashion Icon Award while Womenswear Designer of the Year went to Marc Jacobs. Alexander McQueen was remembered and his work was recognized with CFDA Special Tribute Award.

Lot of models, celebrities and designers graced the event. Most of gentlemen were dressed up in black tuxedo. Big winners of 2010 CFDA Fashion Award were Jason Wu, Richard Chai, Iman, Marc Jacobs and many others.

Christopher Bailey Resort 2011 Collection for Burberry is an amalgamation of sexy and classic clothes. Burberry is known for its stylish outerwear and yet again Christopher Bailey has reinvented a unique collection which is classic as well as trendy.

Burberry Prorsum Cruise 2011 Collection is a clean collection with outstanding detailing and looks. It features lot of trench coats, big waist belts with metallic details, biker ankle boots, lace details on dresses. Most prominent in collection was military fashion touch and animal prints.

Christopher Bailey pounced on texture in ruched leather and lizards skin and accentuated every look with accessories. Thigh high boots were perfectly combined with shiny trench coats.

Christopher Bailey maintained Burberry style but add a touch of new trends for the next season. Highlights of collection were leopard printed rabbit fur coat, fabulous handbags and belts with metallic detailing.

Christopher Bailey fall 2010 collection for Burberry Prorsum was versatile, strong, and masculine. It was full of trench coats, leather pants, aviator jackets, with softness coming in form of curvy silk, lace and washed velvet silhouettes. Color palette was dark, with lots of black, dark chocolaty brown and olive green offest by cream, cobalt, navy blue and burgundy. Main attraction of this show were boots and coats which flaunted the look of models on runway.

The collection finally turned its attention towards ground troops, with sharply tailored, cropped coats and frock coats and also peplum riding jackets were seen. There were some A-line coats with razor pleats at back and gold buttons galore. Palette was in form of peacoats and navy blue coats with gold zippers at the waist, had feminine look.

Burberry Prorsum fall 2010 collection was brilliant piece of fashion-business management, it will leave other competitors seething. Softer side of this collection came by glamorous coats and jackets made from a patchwork. Although theme was all Master and Commander. Just like Burberry Prorsum Fall 2009 collection, it was trench coats who ruled this Pre-Fall 2010 season too. The trench silhouettes were shown in a multitude of textures from wool to fur. Bailey did his best in creating a perfect juxtaposition of menswear with feminine silhouettes.

The palette of this collection is completely fall with rich olive tones as well as navy, burgundy, and black. Winter white and purple made a splashing appearance too. The collection is full of wardrobe staples with a fine tailored and best fit. Though militaristic, the collection is still supremely feminine with every piece being tailored to a woman’s every curve. Outerwear dominates the collection in cropped, over-the-top furs as well as cropped bombers lined in shearling and so much more. The classic trench silhouette takes on a whole new meaning in wool with embroidered detailing. Dresses shown with plunging necklines were all figure-fitting with ruching and lace, adding that feminine feel to the collection.

Bailey’s miraculous mini-trenches were dressed up and down, some thrown over fantastically draped mini-dresses, while others were worn as dresses themselves. Canvas and military-style belts cinched casual versions of trenches, while well polished leather belts and gleaming black buttons accented silk and satin ones.

Models wore khaki socks gathered at ankle and towering khaki platform sandals with mini-trenches and dresses, making a hot fashion for upcoming season. Grown woman are not often seen wearing socks with sandals and not look a bit off, but Bailey orchestrated this look famously at this show.

Prorsum’s trademark piece was hacked off, belted, and recast in shimmering satin and silk with ruched details at shoulders. Pale hues like lilac and pink, and wider use of sequins and other adornments will likely elevate spring/summer 2010 mini-trenches to cult status.

Although short fur jackets, were a curious choice for a spring collection, even this decision seemed completely right. Shown in sweet pastels, furs were abbreviated and one could imagine them as a perfect little cover up during transition from winter to spring.
