Designer created some red-carpet-ready dresses and many day looks that were truly spectacular. From rainbow hues to pastel shades, tailored blazers to relaxed, fluid silken shirt dresses, collection had a series of ladylike pieces created with finest fabrics and materials.

Christopher Kane Spring 2012 collection included alluring floral dresses, cool shift dresses, cigarette pants, tailored shorts and mini skirts with boxy jackets. With fresh makeup and messy hair, models took to the runway in sexy cut out dresses, skirt suits and fabulous shirt dresses.

Cricket style sweaters paired with metallic and floral skirts, sheer multi-colored floral printed dresses, jewel-embellished jeans, plain crisp white shirt with Jewelled skirt and dresses adorned with crystals were the main highlights of show. Stunning models adorned their feet with gorgeous flat shoes for a perfect Summery feel.

Designer, Christopher Kane spruced up look of his models with bright neon color cardigans. Models in neon shift dresses and chic cardigans took center stage. Christopher Kane Spring/Summer 2011 collection was all about neon colors of yellow, orange, pink and green.

Beautiful cardigans really looked gorgeous when sexy models paired them with pleated skirts, dresses and skirt suits. Designer used simple silhouettes with futuristic colors and bold prints for bright fun dresses.

Designer, Zac Posen, showed his new Spring/Summer 2011 Zac Posen collection during Paris Fashion Week. Collection featured rich and deep hues mixed with black, an abundance of feathers, body hugging silhouettes and fancy cardigans which are perfect for Spring and Summer season.

His collection also included chiffon gowns with black dye fading into a gentle cream, a red one-shouldered jumpsuit with a pink ostrich feather waistband, ruffled burgundy and red silk dress. Spring/Summer 2011 Cardigan Fashion includes boho chic styles, lady-like cardigan styles and preppy cardigan styles. Alberta Ferretti Spring/Spring 2011 collection also rocked lady like cardigan style that emphasize feminine and flirty allure. Models walked the runway in lace and crochet dresses at Alberta Ferretti show. Adorable frilly floral frocks and cute drapey dresses in dusty pastel shades looked so beautiful. The clean, feminine looks that went down the runway were brilliantly complemented by floppy hats, bohemian prints and lovely cardigans.

At L’Wren Scott RTW Spring 2011, designer did a great job. Elegant skirts with embroidered velvet jackets over contrasting sheaths sizzled with Scott’s signature. Cardigans showed on this runway were not only fashionable, but practical as well. A glitzy metallic, short-sleeved evening coat looked amazing with white pants. Collection was a mix of fabrics, layering, colors and eye-catching embellishments.

Along with above runways, women’s cardigan fashion trend was also seen at Michael Kors, DKNY, Ohne Titel, A Detacher and Rochas Spring/Summer 2011 runways. Sequins, plaid, ruffles or simple plain, whatever your style is, these fashion shows showcased every style in an amazing way. Christopher Kane’s RTW Spring 2011 Collection is all about neon colors played with prints. He has mixed simple silhouettes with futuristic colors and bold prints creating a “Highlighting Impact“.

Kane has given his pleated skirts, dresses and skirt suits the highlighter impact and hole-punch treatment, sending out brightly colored pieces that were made from leather perforated with lace motif. Other dresses and skirts were fashioned from pleated fluorescent lace. One bright orange halter neck dress was both ethereal and graphic with lace at bottom and geometric pleating detail. The dresses with fierce, swirling Japanese tattoo prints and fluorescent piping were little disappointing.

These neon colored dresses featuring soft lace, jersey prints, laser cut leather and argyle tops, were presented with signature ‘sexy as hell‘ Giuseppe Zanotti heels with same neon color palette. Makeup was kept simple so as to highlight the dresses. However, these dresses can look cool when paired with sexy and colorful Leopard print sandals or black booties.

Kane, 27, dropped thigh-high trend he once favored, and which was predominated at New York Fashion Week last week, by lowering hemlines to a refined, on-the-knee level. Gone were the days when sprayed-on, lingerie-looks in fluorescent lace; rock-chick velvets and snake-skins were in. But, American-gingham dresses, in pink, navy and chocolate, spruced-up as Sunday Best, has covered them all, while gospel music played on soundtrack.

Taking his cue from Brigitte Bardot circa 1956 and young women of America’s great Midwest, Kane offered up a collection that was both wholesome and fierce. Calling all girls – naughty and nice, he toyed Bardot’s signature gingham pattern on to chiffon and silk, in delicate shades of beige, white and pastel blue.

The American Pie modesty was enhanced by pinafore effects, puffed sleeves, and an emphasized bosom, something which is emerging as a major new sway at this 25th anniversary of London Fashion Week. Have a look at collection!
