Donatella Versace perfectly knows how to design dresses that complement women’s curves and evokes her femininity by playing with fabrics and colors. For Versace Spring 2011 Collection, the idea “opposites attract” was key focus. It was all about nice amalgamation of light and dark, lustrous and matte, clean and patterned.

Versace Spring 2011 Milan Fashion Week collection presented sexy, curve-hugging dresses in vibrant, bold and bright hues, exotic geometric print knits and lots more. Dresses in contrasting colors like plain white and beige with bright red, turquoise and yellow were prominent. Silk fringes over gowns and long skirts were attention grabbing.

Fringe-trimmed dresses, panels of see-through PVC, cropped jackets and tops paired with suit skirts, criss-crossing straps at the back, or sides, looked awesome. Top looks included rib cage-skimming jackets teamed with high-waisted skirts and modest necklines, sexy little party-dresses, tops with cutaway details teamed with slim skirts.

Talking about accessory, a very stylish bag resembling knapsack that was broke down into four bags was awesome. Versace Spring Summer 2011 Menswear Collection presented at Milan Fashion Week was also fantastic.

Donatella Versace Resort 2011 Collection was inspired from 60’s women’s fashion and was made more glamorous. Dresses in stretch fabrics lead to body-consciousness motif.

Resort 2011 Versace Collection was a very bright and youthful collection that presented mini skirts , short dresses, gladiators footwear. Dresses presented looked apt for daywear and some in pastel colors are good for officewear too.

On the whole, Versace Resort 2011 Womenswear Collection was a nice and bright collection that comprised of leather fabrics mixed with nylon and cotton, pink trench, stretch fabrics and much more.

Lot of black-and-white geometric set menswear short-sleeve henley-collar T-shirts, jackets and underwear were presented. Collection drew influences from classic cowboy to the 1978 film Grease and even optical art and is perfect for man who loves to shake a leg on Elvis tunes.

Versace Spring 2011 menswear collection included faux-bib-fronted shirts, a drape jacket with a shawl collar in black leather, jackets and trousers in sheeny tonic fabric, donkey jacket in red leather, low-slung leather pants with fringes trailing from the side seams, and a big cream overcoat.

Highlights of Collection were the bangin’ Medusa-head belt buckles, super-slim trousers and Elvis-worthy fringe, optical silk shirts, the graphic section of swimsuits and mens silk robes in a black-and-white Vorticist patterns.

Models with slicked back hairstyle were looking stylish. There were also stylish mens accessories like superb chain jewelery pieces shown on shirts and attached to some of the bottoms.

Variety was the key of this show as different variations in classic trouser, was shown. Versace menswear spring 2011 included everything one can ask for like formal suits, single and double breasted suits made of sharkskin, pointy two-tone shoes and much more. Atelier Versace Spring/Summer 2010 collection is filled with mind blowing and jaw-dropping gowns, apt for red carpet fashion. Kasia Struss in Atelier Versace Spring 2010 collection, is exuding glamor and lots of energy. Talking about gowns, designs are inspired by the Greco-Roman era.

But this time the collection, specially dresses with metallic designs looked somehow inspired from Versace Spring 2010 Collection. In this Fall/Winter 2010/2011 Ready-to-Wear Collection by Versace, you can see a lot of new coming trends.

Look of this collection mainly consists of leather, denim, fur, neon, metallic details, asymmetrical pieces and cut-out designs, which added elegance, glamor, luxury and femininity. Versace’s models showed powerful colors like electric yellow, purple, steely blue and black leather which accentuate women’s attitude and personality. The collection also highlighted backless dresses, off shoulder dresses and ultra-miniskirts.

In this year’s Fall collection you might have seen leather everywhere. But this time Donatella brings biker brigade to different level, by making it look more glamorous, hot and very feminine, on shoes, leggings, jackets and leather pants mixed with denim. Fur, which made a huge sensation this season, also remain a main piece in this Collection by Versace. Almost all dresses were done with splits that gave a glamorous touch!!

At the end, Donatella has successfully kept Versace brand on top again with this beautiful feminine and strong Fall 2010 RTW Collection. As for this fall collection she had gone for strong attitude, lots of sexiness and outstanding designs in details and color. Altogether, the outfits makes this collection look more stunning and youthful for her audience.

Donatella was fashionably late to the party. Two hours in, she was nowhere to be found; perhaps she was still upstairs tending to VIPs. Lohan said that she came “for Donatella” before beelining to Brian Atwood for a chat. Keeping with the “art chic” theme, walls of one whole room at party downstairs was covered in paper for guests to scribble on.

Vivid pastels, baroque curlicues, fluorescents, psychedelic prints, leather, geometric prints, short-short skirts, cleavage, corsets, and slinky, sexy chain mail, phew…! This collection delivered it all with knockout force and boom.

Donatella Versace’s inspiration was Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, which will be coming out this March. Aside from spectacle of fantasy, collection was a melting-pot of wondrous technology and handwork. Some silk chiffon gowns were made from more than 20 metres cloth and were hand-embroidered with yards of fine silver thread.

Bustier-dresses and skirts, just managing to cover the upper thigh, were fashioned from lime, pink, and aquamarine chain-mail with turreted hems. Butt-skimming pelmets came in clear plastic, silver metal, and punched leather, worn with matching maillots or backless knits.

Janet Jackson, Roger Federer and his wife, Rupert Everett, Mario Testino, and British designer Christopher Kane, who is a consultant for Versace’s diffusion line, Versus were among the front-row guests at Versace’s show. Donatella’s hard work resulted in a sure-footed, happy collection guaranteed to pique the interest of her and her daughter’s generation as well.
