Armani Prive Paris Haute Couture Autumn Winter 2010/11 show kicked off with Carmen Kass stepping on runway clad in Armani classic draped jacket and skirt combination.

Making it more stylish and haute couture was draped jacket with crepe silk overcoat with one scarf collar over a shoulder fasten with a large amber brooch.

Lots of women’s business dresses in subdued color palette of ambers were presented that were just awesome. Then came dreamy mermaid dresses in sparking amber theme.

Show came to an end with  glamorous bejeweled dresses and Armani Prive haute couture gowns in rich tones of gold and amber. Models were looking quite sophisticated in side swept hairdo that complemented the dresses as well.

Not only collection but laminated runway was also very luxurious and stylish. Designs like Cashmere coats, cocktail dresses in silk jersey, evening gowns, in shimmering Mikado satin, Armani Prive coats belted at throat were chic.

Giorgio Armani Mens Spring 2011 Collection at Milan Fashion Week was all about Jackets, Jackets and Jackets!! Excluding one or two looks, Giorgio Armani mens jackets dominated the show. Collection was named ‘Sun and the City’.

Giorgio Armani Spring 2011 show started off with a quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson: “Whoso would be a man must be a nonconformist.”

Unlike Emporio Armani Spring 2011 Collection, Giorgio Armani opted for lighter and brighter hues. It was all about cool and bright men’s summer fashion.

Giorgio Armani Spring 2011 Mens collection presented a ray of sunshine for his signature line.

Talking about collection, Armani double breasted suits, classic slate blue and gray suits, chartreuse shoes, chartreuse belts, pocket scarves were prominent on runway.

Highlights were gingham jacket paired with pants in a Prince of Wales check, blue jackets with short in same color, chartreuse (color halfway between yellow and green) shoes, belts.

Acqua di Gioia is reinvented version of Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio floral fragrance which was a perfect blend of fruits, flowers and woods. Acqua di Gioia is a different take on original altogether. Rumors are getting loud that this reinvented fragrance could be Armani’s most popular perfume yet.

The noses behind this fragrance are Anne Flipo, Loc Dong and Dominique Ropion. Top notes include amalfi lemon and mint; jasmine, pink pepper and peony appear at heart notes; and french labdanum, virginia cedar and sugar make the base for the perfume. Armani described this scent as a image of a strong, free-spirited and serene woman who exists in a perfect harmony with nature. Acqua di Gioia will be available in three sizes as 30ml, 50ml and 100ml eau de toilette.

Armani Prive Spring 2010 Haute Couture was all about calmness, romance exhilarating from designer clothes based on beauty of moon. Seems like, after choosing new faces of Emporio Armani, Giorgio Armani is all set to just revamp whole look of brand. A surprisingly dramatic look was flaunted on stage by presentation of Giorgio Armani Prive Spring 2010 collection against a scudding clouds backdrop with silvery moon.

Inspiration behind collection was perfectly getting translated through luminescent fabrics, curviform cutting and embroideries depicting craters of moon. Cutting skirts from overlapping semicircles and working curves into peplums of jackets, fastened with half-moon mother-of-pearl pins was an idea, that only a great designer can think of.

Highlight of show was Russian model Vlada Roslyakova in a giant disc of milky sheer-white organza impersonating full moon. Every shade of moon from dark to light, were beautifully presented by using sparkling silver beading, pale metallic pinks and greens, synthetic moire treatments of organza, and palettes shot with flashes of electric blue.

Models with crescent-shaped up do for hair were looking like fairies from heaven carrying lot of pleasure for eyes and heart as well. Great contrast was shown on stage with silk tulle and reflective micro-organzas mirroring the milky way and gowns draped and folded over one shoulder to create a wave of shawl or cape look, evoking beauty of deep black Space.

Giorgio Armani spring 2010 show truly deserves accolade for presenting a unique, stylish and enticing collection. Adding more charm to the night were stars Tina Turner, Anne Hathaway and Marianne Cotillard who have already made their pick from Giorgio Armani Prive Haute couture show, for red carpet events coming up.

It was designer’s second show in Milan, but this collection delivered an equally vibrant Giorgio Armani main line for spring/summer 2010. Bikinis and swimsuits were bedecked with Plexiglas brooches and necklaces as bright as molten lava, while sandals featured crimson Perspex heels and ankle-straps. Short, party dresses in Vesuvian shades of fuchsia and bright orange, were cinched with shiny, shocking-pink, and patent-leather belts.

Bright colors of collection were inspired by bougainvillea, oleander and ranuncula in gardens on southern coast of Italy. These bold shades were imitated in floral prints and multi-colored stripes. Monochrome polka-dots and stripes were combined as a contrast to hot, sun-drenched palette, to match the black-and-white catwalk, and urban shades of gray.

Other fun options for summer in this collection included round sunglasses and multiple fabric threaded necklaces.

Show kicked off with a sharp, narrowly cut red, blue, and white hounds-tooth number, including a jacket worn over a deep plunge-front top, loose-fitting pants cropped above ankles, and flat sandals. Some jackets shown in this collection were having origami-like pinches and folds at upper arm which is a subtle way to do the bold shoulder. While others were woven together from dainty ribbons, and glinted with allover crystal embroidery worn with casual sweat-pant or baggy pleat-front skirts.

Keeping in tune with spring and summer, Armani kept everything above the knee. He added panels of multicolor sequins to bodices of fuchsia and royal blue taffeta numbers, and beaded every square centimeter of others. Collection was perfectly set off by clutch handbags and flat sandals which were added to give a complete look to whole sequence.

With total self-confidence, a variety of attitudes were expressed through colors, this summer’s star performer, and oversized graphics that are unmistakably Armani.

Indispensable shades of grey present a virtuoso display of patterns, from shirts in masculine weaves to ties defining the body. A series of stripes identifies the suits, in a game of graphics that extends to shoes.

The holiday season and long sunny days of summer are fantastically evoked by shades of Havana brown lit up by light gleams and shimmer of silk on linen. Suits with a city-slant appear super-light in pale, brilliant colors teamed with lovely loose pieces.

The sky blue tones of shirts, with micro geometric designs that range from stripes to azulejo tile patterns, emphasize the impact of plain white suits.
