There were traditional Chanel suits as well as chic designs in graphite black, white, gray, navy and magenta with glimpse of fuchsia pink.

It was a stylish collection that included designer pieces that every women would like to own including suits, skirts and dresses that truly look tailor-made and perfect for a classy night out.

Highlights of collection included peplum-over-narrow-skirt silhouette, lacey masked models, LED-capped shoes, jewel-encrusted shirt-dresses with feathered fringing, boater hats and a starry nighttime setting.

Ombre-dipped skirts, long-sleeved form-fitting gowns adorned with crystals and sequins were interesting.

Bringing star power to show were front row celebs including Elle Fanning, Alexa Chung, Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson and Milla Jovovich.

Rounding up the show was a model stepping on runway dressed as bride wearing dreamy gown with high neckline, long train and blindfold-like ostrich feather-covered boater hat.

Chanel Resort 2012 Fashion Show was all about top models cat walking on runway flaunting ladylike, elegant and sophisticated, Resort 2011 designer pieces inspired by relaxed glamor of the French Riviera and beautiful front row celebrity decked in Chanel numbers.

Making the Karl Lagerfeld Cruise 2012 Collection all the more magnificent were looks accessorized with 90 pieces of Chanel Haute Joaillerie including real jewels, diamonds, and pearls.

Show opened with models stepping on runway donning skirts and fitted jackets in broom yellow and lilac hues. Predominant neutral tones like creamy hues and the subtle floral patterns were prominent on runway.

White haired model Kristen McMenamy took the runway in black-and-white wrap and bathing suit while Stella Tennant strutted her stuff in navy crepe that was topped by a long, sleeveless vest.

Pieces including mid-calf dresses, beaded shift dresses, monochrome swimwear, tweed blazers, Natasha Poly’s white beaded sheath, floaty three-quarter-length dresses with the shirred midriffs were chic.

Lean skirt suits with sparkling buttons, bias-cut gowns of ivory silk strung with oversized pearls and full trousers slashed up the calf also grabbed attention.

As of Chanel Cruise 2012 footwear and accessories, models sported white knee-high boots-cum-sandals, sunhats, shades and towels that were attention grabbing.

Front row celebrities including Blake Lively, Vanessa Paradis, Anna Mouglalis, Rachel Bilson, Alexa Chung, Clémence Poésy, all clad in finest Chanel pieces, added to glam factor at the show.

One of most notable moment of this Paris Fashion Week Spring 2011 show was model Ines de la Fressange on Chanel runway in a black sheer floor-length gown, making return to Chanel’s runway after 21 years. On the whole it was a magnificent show .

Models walked around a lion holding a giant pearl – in shades of maroon, brown, white and pink. Compared to glistening sci-fi whites of his Spring couture, these looks had some moody tinge.
