Designer pieces like three-quarter length skirts, satiny frocks and one super-fun shirt dress adorned with fruity prints, hearts and giant polka-dots were quite fun-filled. Just like Miu Miu Fall 2010 Collection, it was ritzy.

Not only clothes but bold accessories like studded bangles and polka dot shoes were also interesting. Collection was inspired by lingerie shapes and fabrics like crepe de chine, satin, and sable.

Some neon color dresses with prints of apples and hearts added cuteness and armfuls of bracelets made it ritzy. Looks like flared, cuffed cotton drill pants worn with a fitted military jacket and keyhole-neckline crepe dress were stylish.

Miuccia Prada Cruise collection for brand Miu Miu exhibited many polka dot dresses, polka dots pants and much more. In all, it was a colorful, flirty collection.

Miu Miu is positioned as daily-oriented, younger clothing line from Prada Fashion house. Just like Prada Fall 2010 Womenswear Collection, this collection by Miuccia Prada was magical. This time Prada exclusively made use of thick fleecy wool and Licorice Allsort colored tunic dresses and suits with necklines met chin encircled with nude leather ribbons or Peter Pan collars or tied with floppy bow.

Sleeveless designer dresses and flippy coats were decorated with floral applique in glossy black leather or metallic silver adorning dresses and jackets that came over with A-lined wrap around miniskirts.

Look decided for models completely complement the look of collection that, as its playful Sixties references, and a futuristic appeal too. Stripes of orange and lilac on model’s eyes and shots of color in their shiny ponytails made this collection as modern and original.

Miu Miu RTW Fall 2010 show, showed us some legs. Tight ski pants fluted out suddenly when dresses came with bare legs, literally, legs were main focus of this youthful 60s style collection, which brought Paris Fashion Week to a cheerful and cheeky end.

Prada Fall 2010 collection is truly feminine, classic and sexy, and it’s not about baring all, but covering it up in a retro style. Clothes themselves were a little deliberate, and quietly humorous, compliment to the womanly. If it’s possession of breasts that’s been bothering model-casting agents for past few years, this collection was a nightmare scenario for them. The ample bust was unavoidable focal point of silhouette, picked out in balconies of lace ruffles and upstanding pointy-bra formations on raised-waist wide-skirted dresses and coats.

Whole collection was conservative, almost funereal, displaying designer’s premise of endlessly chic, subverted classics. Chunky sweaters, belted over skirts, cut A-line skirts in patent leather, and a gorgeous swingy red-and-black coat were among top looks. Such sturdy, librarian-chic daywear stood in striking contrast to more glamorous evening pieces, including a black wool coat and shift, embroidered with slick jet beads down the front.

Then there were ruffled bosoms of fit-and-flare dresses bursting with eyelet frills, some were alternating black & white, others trimmed in bright blue. It was demure yet seductive, an idea Prada hammered home by casting a few Victoria’s Secret Angels, such as Doutzen Kroes, the buff bombshell, here turned out in a full-skirted sleeveless dress daintily cinched at waist.

There weren’t any disconcerting and brooding undercurrents we expected from her. Instead, Prada did a business to beach. She said, “It’s a representation of how’s life today. High and low, palazzos, and popular,” and, she smiled, “I really liked it.”

Models with ruby red lips, wearing chiffon veils were combined with silk sport shorts, wandering down the corridors of a seaside Belle Epoque hotel, re-created on runway. The whole atmosphere underlined ambiguous mood of Prada collection.

Hemlines were short and silks were unfinished at edges. A mixture of traditional and new textiles was also seen in label’s signature wear including nylon silk blends, crystal and PVC on accessories. The latest Prada accessories shown at this show include shoes and bags in see-through plastic.

The merging of modernity and classicism played in fabric precised, angular, gray duchess satin and nylon coats, vests, jackets, and Bermudas that had been scissored off to leave raw edges. Manipulated photographic prints showing beach umbrellas, palm trees, and lounging holidaymakers were then applied to short shorts, and jackets.

“It is quite contemporary, a little bit nostalgic and very mysterious,” was how Designer Miuccia Prada described her collection to reporters, after a much-applauded show.
