Concerning colours, I thought of very soft colours but ones that still retained the dazzle I wanted to achieve in this collection,” said the designer.

Sparkling floor-sweeping gowns with elbow length sleeves, Wedding gown, gowns with long sleeves, printed pieces and short sparkly numbers; the collection was filled with a variety of extra-special dresses.

Romantic gowns in pastel colors and with little bows at the waist looked truly magical. Along with statement-making gowns, Elie Saab’s Spring 2012 Couture collection also featured many eye-popping mini dresses which were adorned with tulle flowers, intricate embroidery and crystal beading.
