For spring 2012, designer amazingly played with soft colors and luxurious prints. His designs were breathtaking, alluring and extra-special. Like always, there were lots of red-carpet worthy looks for that million dollar look.

Candy pinks, sky blues, mint greens, creamy yellows, nudes and lots of pastel hues can be found in Elie Saab’s latest collection. Hot and sexy models walked the runway wearing floor-sweeping embellished gowns which were some of the best looks from the collection.

There was plenty of lacework, embroidery, prints, sheer fabrics and embellishment. We were blown away by super gorgeous floral embroidered gowns, crystal embellished gowns and beaded pieces. Totally loving this collection.

“In this collection I thought about a very modern princess, I though of the fairytales which all girls dream of in order to come up with this collection which I hope you’ll like. Concerning colours, I thought of very soft colours but ones that still retained the dazzle I wanted to achieve in this collection,” said the designer.

Sparkling floor-sweeping gowns with elbow length sleeves, Wedding gown, gowns with long sleeves, printed pieces and short sparkly numbers; the collection was filled with a variety of extra-special dresses.

Romantic gowns in pastel colors and with little bows at the waist looked truly magical. Along with statement-making gowns, Elie Saab’s Spring 2012 Couture collection also featured many eye-popping mini dresses which were adorned with tulle flowers, intricate embroidery and crystal beading.

The Spring 2012 couture collection shows models strolling down the runway with sleek ponytails and natural makeup. After seeing these fab dresses, we are sure that sexy divas of Hollywood are going to wear them for their next red carpet events.

Incredible numbingly detailed techniques were visible in a light grey long chantilly and tulle long dress with 360 folds and pleated tulle, details like buttons running up the sleeve of a governess-y pale crepe gown.

Rounding up the show was model Freja Beha Erichsen stepping on runway in gorgeous ethereal and modern with delicate gold lace embroidery.

Channeling Eastern influences from Japan, Armani Prive Fall 2011 Haute Couture women’s dresses featured famous Japanese visual icons including parasols and cherry blossoms as well as obilike belts and origamilike folds.

Elie Saab Autumn Winter 2011 Couture Fashion Show opened with a model stepping on runway in sparkling full sleeved gowns featuring icy gray-blue tulle that was draped and gathered at model’s waist and adorned with metallic silver.

It was followed by embellished sleeveless aquamarine dress with long skirt and skinny belt cinched at the waist. Then came a lot of gorgeous dresses in different delicate hues including aqua, ivory, silvery white, mauve, bronze and blue stylishly combined with lot of sparkles, beads, Swarovski crystals, sequins and much more.

Modern looking dresses made Elie Saab’s latest collection all the more interesting as flirty skirts and dresses look hard to be ignored by glamorous Hollywood babes.

However British designer Galliano was sacked in March but Dior still knows how to put on a show. This time, 51-year-old designer Bill Gaytten and his assistant Susanna Venegas, presented first Dior couture show without John Galliano.

Collection was inspired by former Dior designer Marc Bohan’s creations, held in tents in the gardens of the Rodin Museum.

There were dresses in whimsical prints and vibrant hues, floor length dresses, bubble gum cropped pastel jackets, flowing chiffon dresses, stunning and kooky Stephen Jones headpieces, 50s poodle skirts, ruffled collars and much more.

Christian Dior Haute Couture Fall 2011 Show opened with model stepping on runway in a crazy-paving jacket with a ruffled collar and a full pleated skirt.

With makeup by Pat McGrath and blown out hair styled by Orlando Pita, models grabbed attention. Eyebrows covered with block neon shades in aqua-green and pinks and metallic blues, green and bronze shadows accented with clear sequins added to the drama.

60s-style waves dominated the runway and acknowledging Dior’s legacy were pieces like a bar jacket or two in the mix and looks based on the rose, a classic Dior emblem.

Just like opening, Christian Dior haute couture finale was also larger than life. On display were dresses featuring multiple tiers on candy-colored tops, elaborate cascading frocks.

Anne Valerie Hash Fall 2011 Haute Couture Collection was all about wearable sleek and simple silhouettes in elegant palette of neutrals, black and white, customized with her trademark draping, presenting masculine tailoring with feminine softness.

Looks including low-slung tailored trousers and fitted maxi-skirts attached to loose-fitting tops, plunge v-neck tuxedo jacket dresses and pantsuits, trompe l’oeil dresses that looked like a blouse and skirt but were actually all-in-one suits; were interesting.

French designer Anne Valérie Hash presented a masculine-meets-feminine fashion in peachy silk mousseline shirt dress with a smooth fall of a skirt in crepe, slipdress with a belt-loop neckline, and one-sleeve jacket over a bustier dress.

Alexander McQueen Autumn/Winter 2011/12 runway show, an ode to “The Ice Queen and Her Court” reflected that aesthetic at its purest with what the show notes called “heritage silhouettes”.

Color palette was mostly based on black, white and some grays with a flash of lavender and baby blue, here and there.

Sarah Burton’s couture-level tailoring was prominent in fitted wool jackets trimmed in fur, tiny zippers running vertically around a skirt hem, spray-on leather leggings beneath skirts and dresses with bodices crafted entirely from mosaics of broken bone china plates.

Fur was prominent in drop-waist halterneck dress and the hood of a sleeveless sheath. Models grabbed attention in their colorless faces and small, metal-covered heads and Lace-up platform booties.

Rounding up the show were Alexander McQueen Fall 2011 evening gowns that came in white looking as pure as snow and in black flaunting sexier side. On the whole, Alexander McQueen Fall 2011 runway show was all about intricate tailoring and dreamy dresses and gown, apt for royal wedding.
