Clinique (UK), has launched a new limited edition make-up range for Christmas 2009. So, get ready for soft and shimmering shades of violet from plums to lilacs. Because this collection will make you love purple as much as Dot Cotton.
The Black Tie Violets range features various products for eyes, cheeks and lips in hues that vary from plum to sugared almond. For eyes the collection includes, Color Surge Eye Shadow Quad, Brush-On Cream Liner, and New High Impact Curling Mascara. Gorgeous combination of four coordinating shimmery eye shadows creates looks ranging from subtle and soft to sophisticated and sexy.
But with statement lips big at the moment, it’s all about lip glosses, lipsticks and lip liners. It seems that the Different Lipstick in a Different Grape (£14.00) will be a best seller as its creamy formula wears medium to sheer. The Shimmering Stripes Powder Blusher Quad has four complementary shades of pearly, luminous blush in rich, and limited edition plum shades. It’s silvery jewel-like packaging makes this a perfect party accessory.
Although, all shades in this range are not of purple, that are setting the trends for makeup this holiday season. Clinique has created only two shades for High Impact Curling Mascara, that is black and brown, and not in purple. So, it’s kind of disappointment for those who have a decent, decadent, deep-purple mascara certainly on their Christmas wish-lists.
Over in all, Clinique has created gorgeous effects for eyes, lips, and cheeks, beautifully illuminating every skin tone. This is gonna be a must have collection for the party season.
