John Galliano Spring/Summer 2011 fashion show can be described as a dramatic, extravagant, theatrical and sheer outrageous show. Setting the vibe was Grand Opera Comique’s runway that was dazzled up by bright lights and striking designer pieces during Spring 2011 Paris Fashion Week.
For Spring 2011 Collection, designer went for Maria Lani-inspired looks like crystal-encrusted gowns and luxurious outerwear that was far away from minimalistic look, setting scene for early 20th century story.

Models were representing to be a portrait of Lani with variations of hair and makeup, complete with bold prints, vibrant colors and voluminous silhouettes. Pieces like thigh-grazing skirts and belted blazers showed 21st century look. It was one of most dramatic Spring 2011 fashion shows.
Highlights of show included voluminous green shorts, cream silk circular cut genie trousers with butterfly prints, snakeskin trench coats, silk bomber jackets, pink, orange and turquoise layered skirt, neon pink lace cardigan over a red floral silk skirt, jewelled white chiffon dresses and much more.
