On an evening when there were several surprises in junior categories, the major awards at 61st Primetime Emmy Awards went to same series and actors who won last year. These were 30 Rock for best comedy, Mad Men for best drama, and Bryan Cranston, Glenn Close and Alec Baldwin in their respective acting categories. Let’s have a look at the 2009 Emmy Winners!
“Mad Men” and “30 Rock” took home trophies again, and Jon Cryer nabbed a surprise victory.
“Mad Men” won Outstanding Drama Series Emmy Award once again.
“30 Rock” won Outstanding Comedy Series Emmy Award once again.
“Grey Gardens” won Outstanding Made for Television Movie Emmy.
“Little Dorrit” won Emmys for Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries, and Outstanding Miniseries and Movie or Dramatic Special.
