Elie Saab is a well known name, highly accoladed for his evening wears and red carpet gowns. Gowns from Elie Saab Spring 2010 collection were spotted at Oscars 2010 too. Designing dresses for red carpet is his forte.
Gorgeous Anna Kendrick and Rachel McAdams both were looking like princess in Elie Saab gown on red carpet. Going a little different, Elie Saab Autumn/Winter 2010/11 Collection was all about very wearable evening dresses for women, in dark colors.
Elie Saab Fall 2010 Womenswear Collection was primarily focused on black color with hints of burgundy, teal, and midnight blue for evening. There were lot of black gowns, black short dresses, black frocks for prom and many more.
In all, 59 designs presented on runway were scintillating including black formal wears for women as well as sexy black gowns. Full-skirted pieced lace cocktail dresses were also very beautiful.
Some of dresses that look apt for red carpet are see-through ombré net and peekaboo lace style gowns with jewel-tone sequined columns. Not to skip, long gowns that were in some what sheer fabric in burgundy and teal color, were also fantastic.
