Renowned crystal jewelry and glassware manufacturer, Baccarat Crystal, has launched fabulous designs of fine crystal jewelry. Known for it’s unique and bold designs, Baccarat Jewelry’s first move took place in 1764, when King Louis XV of France granted to Bishop de Montmorency-Laval permission to establish a glassworks in the village of Baccarat.
Since 1993, jewelry designers of Baccarat have created a new design on an annual basis and some of those designers have worked with France’s most skilled craftsmen. After devoting eight years to craft jewelry, designers at Baccarat raised the level of jewelry with precious and semiprecious stones. They developed a method for attaching those colorful stones to Baccarat crystal and decided to give their new jewelry collection a name, “Les Precieux.”
The idea behind their new collection was, “The material in a piece of jewelry does not serve the design; it directs nature of that design.” So, jewelers chose those designs that would enhance beauty of Baccarat crystals.
In one collection, all jewelry pieces resemble a heavenly body during an eclipse. The nature of light that appears during an eclipse has been re-created in a number of pieces of Baccarat jewelry. There are such six main collections named as Hearts, Insomnight, Facettes, Rock, B Spirit, and Tentation.
Harmonious colors in Baccarat Jewelry complement complexion of any woman and any casual or fashionable outfit. Each piece of this jewelry has undergone a skilled hand. Jewelers have used their unique designs to highlight transparency in crystal. They relied on neutral color in crystal to accent vivid colors in gemstones.
