Tic-Toc girl, Madonna is again in mood to do something new. But this time not in her videos, rather in designing. That’s true!! Madonna and designer duo Dolce & Gabbana have brought their friendship to next level by collaborating together to launch a six-piece eyewear collection called “MDG”. This luxury designer sunglasses collection will go on sale at Dolce & Gabbana stores worldwide in May 2010.
Madonna and Tyson Ballou shoot for these eyepieces, which was captured by celeb photographer Steven Klein in a New York studio. Pictures look like that these are scenes captured from a video. This luxurious eyewear collection MDG constitutes sunglasses which are sleek but are a slightly stale shape and cost between $248-$289. She’s also the face of upcoming Dolce & Gabbana Fall/Winter 2010 ad campaign.
These six pairs of sunglasses were co-designed by Madonna and D&G, so these feature MDG star-studded logo, laser etched on the arm. The letter ‘M’ in MDG features stars symbolizing the Star herself. The collection is not so trendy and reveals 70s style!! Am I Right?
