Jenna Lyons, the creative director of J.Crew Inc., is really on a roll. Jenna Lyons and Frank Muytjens presented their women’s and men’s Fall 2010 Collections in New York. J.Crew is famous for offering highest quality of men’s and women’s clothing including sweaters, cashmere, women’s dresses and shoes. And this time also, for its Fall 2010 Collection, J.Crew has maintained its status.

This time they played with more subdued shades, palette, accordingly restrained to a tonal mix of slate grays, oatmeals, khakis, and army greens. Tailoring again continued to be a best part and point of focus. Again in this season Ludlow suit showed up with variety of new iterations. There were military-inspired guys also for this collection, which doesn’t move it too much from recent past seasons. There were 484 jeans which walk the fine line between slim and skinny. Collaborations with Muytjens could be start of good business.

J.Crew Fall 2010 presentation took place at Milk Studios. This time Jenna Lyons went for more, and more flowers, fur, sequins, and jewels for womenswear. In the presentation models wore rugged tweeds, outerwear with Mongolian lamb accents and textured tights. This collection for women was all about the most expensive fabric, beautiful tailoring, and the most beautiful bodies with biggest bank accounts.Lyons recently said she would love to collaborate with Christian Louboutin for footwear. And why not, Christian Louboutin footwear is something which every women wants to have in her wardrobe. She came up with a slew of designers with whom she’d like to work with and the names are — Alber Ebaz, Phillip Lim, and Riccardo Tisci. Hope we got to see their collaborations like Jimmy Choo and H&M.
