Looks like this spring season is going to witness a lot of pastel colors replacing flashy pinks and reds. This notion has been reflected in Elie Saab Spring 2010 Haute Couture collection at Paris Fashion Week. Much like pieces already exhibited on runway by Giorgio Armani, Anne Valerie Hash and Christophe Josse, Elie Saab spring 2010 collection is also based on softer romanticism, soothing colors and enticing womens wear.
Models from Elie Saab’s Spring/Summer 2010 floated down the runway of Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris flaunting beautiful gowns in washed-out colors and dusty tints of bois de rose, mauve, celadon, and plenty of foundation-shade beiges. Whole vibe of collection was magical, as models were looking fashion divas without any chunky jewelry and relatively natural makeup.
Saab made it sure that no one misses even one dress from his 44-look show, by presenting dresses in a very young and modern way. Highlight of show was double-layered dress with a slim inner column and a sheer, petal-embroidered over-piece dragging a little train, that looked wonderful.
Along with flowy gowns there were also short flower-appliqued dresses with boleros as well as one over-crinolined and petticoated strapless ball gown. In all, Elie Saab spring 2010 show was based on cappuccino and shadowy gray shades and washed-out pastels, beautifully used in a collection of the almost all full-length gowns.
Undoubtedly, lot of starlets will hit red carpet this spring season wearing these wonderfully beautiful, feminine evening gowns by Elie Saab and make their big night, all the more special by getting throne of best dressed star of season.
